Escort and Controlling Tactics Course

If you are a: police officer; security guard; peace officer; protection services staff; or a sheriff this is course for you. I am a police officer in Alberta and have had the pleasure of taking the Escort and Controlling Tactics Course offered by Goshinkan JuJitsu schools.

Chief Instructor and Master JuJitsu Sensei, Kevin D. Lintott is one of the best ECT instructors I have had the pleasure taking a course from. The price was very reasonable for the amount of knowledge I gained.

Sensei Lintott was a professional security expert for over 10 years in Alberta with several years of experience in law enforcement. His real world experience applying these need to know techniques truly puts him apart from any other law enforcement or security trainer in Canada.

Take a look at the Goshinkan web site!

Drop Sensei Lintott an email.

Calgary JuJitsu Lie!

There are currently only three Goshinkan-Ryu JuJitsu Dojo's in Alberta. It has come to my intention that there has been fraudulent miss use of the GMA copy written and trade marked syllabus and system.

If your Sensei is having you grade every three months there is no way this is pure JuJitsu. If your classes seem more like fitness than JuJitsu that's because they are. Fitness plays a roll, however get fit on your own time, you don't need to pay your Sensei to show you how to kick 100 times in a row.

It takes around 4 years to earn your Black Belt in Goshinkan JuJitsu but can take upwards of 7 years. If you are a Blue or Purple belt and you have put in only one year of JuJitsu training, some Sensei is simply trying to sell you a Belt.

Did you join JuJitsu to earn belts? There are many simpler styles of martial arts if you just want to get belts. I have Blue belts that have been doing GMA for two years and are two belts below some others but have 10 times the skills.

If you want to learn the pure Goshinkan JuJitsu don't take a substitute program claiming to be Goshinkan-Ryu JuJitsu. Just because they stole the book does not make them a certified recognized instructor in the style.

Send Sensei Lintott and email and find out the truth! No one likes to be made a fool of or lied too! We don't post a bunch of poorly done videos of low level techniques being done incorrectly on the web, because anyone who walks onto out mats knows in about 5 minutes what JuJitsu is.
